“Simon-Williamson Clinic is a primary care based multispecialty clinic dedicated to providing the highest quality medical care with kindness, compassion, and integrity. We recognize patients as our most valuable asset, and we commit ourselves to their health and well-being.”
Our History
Founded in 1935, Simon-Williamson Clinic, P.C. is named after two founding visionaries, Harold E. Simon, MD and Byrn Williamson, MD. In addition to forming Birmingham’s first group practice, the doctors initiated a philosophy expressed as “not just treating the sick, but caring for people.” Through continued growth and changes, the clinic has remained committed to this philosophy and purpose of “Service to People.”
In 1975 the clinic moved from Norwood to the campus of Baptist Medical Center Princeton. After continued growth, we now consist of 34 physicians in 13 specialties. In 2007, the clinic moved into our own new 113,000 square foot building, still located on BMC Princeton campus.
